Mercure Ambassador Jeju 2-night stay review with my own money

We love swimming so much
We looked for a clean hotel with a swimming pool.

Overall review

#Pros:
Highly recommended if you are coming to swim! It's so nice to swim in the heated pool all day long while watching the trees swaying.
Also highly recommend the Gotjawal trekking course! It takes about 15 minutes to complete, and it's perfect for those who want to heal with nature.
The spacious room, bathroom, and comfortable bedding were also good. The smart TV was also good. We could relax.

#Cons:
The breakfast was so-so, which was a shame.

Located 30 minutes from the airport. Located 10 minutes from the Jungmun Tourist Complex.
It is located on the left side of Seogwipo, and nearby are the O'sulloc Tea Museum (6km) and the Teddy Bear Museum (10km).

Parking lot

It seems like there's only an outdoor parking lot, but it's big enough to accommodate all cars.
It's located right in front of the hotel, and if there's no space here, there are more in the back, so it's plenty.

Inside the hotel

It's spacious and there are sofas for waiting.
There were two people at the reception, and since there weren't many people when we went, we could check in right away.
It might have taken a little while to wait if there were a lot of people when we went to check in on time.

There were board games in the lobby like this.
It would be fun to play board games with the kids if you come with them.

Room

There were two double beds, and the beds were so comfortable that I slept soundly ㅎㅎ

There was a long table and a large mirror that made me want to put on makeup.
There was also a kettle and O'sulloc tea, as Jeju is known for its tea.

The TV was a smart TV so we could watch Netflix, YouTube, and Disney Plus.

I was surprised that there were login records from previous people so I could just watch, so I logged out everyone.

Bathroom

The bed side and the bathroom side are separated by the entrance, so the space separation is good.

The bathroom was particularly nice because it was large.
I kept going to the pool and had to wash up right away, but there was a shower and a bathtub so it was good that two people could wash at the same time.

Toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you need to bring them.

Closet, refrigerator, safe, etc.

Two bottles of water are provided by default, and we brought that Hoegaarden and put it in there ㅎㅎ
There is also a safe and slippers.

The closet may be hard to find, but it's right in front of you when you open the door and enter the room, and if you open it, you'll find a bathrobe hanging there.

The best thing about this room is
You can go to the pool in 0.1 seconds from the balcony ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I swam so much I got tired of it every day!!

When you go out through this door, the pool scenery unfolds right away, and the moment you leave this door is a very good memory.

We could almost feel like we were chartering it, and it was so nice to be able to go in whenever there weren't many people.
If you like swimming, I highly recommend the Pool Access Deluxe Room!

Pool

Operating hours: 10:00~ 20:00
We used it in September, and it seemed to be open only from April to October. (I checked the pool usage guide below).
It's an outdoor pool, and it's heated, so it's nice and warm.
There's one kiddie pool and one big pool. Maximum depth of the big pool: 1.5m

Notes) Swimming cap is required! No food is allowed.

It's amazing to swim and feel the Jeju wind, watch the trees swaying, and do backstroke while looking at the sky.

Sunbeds. You don't have to pay extra to use them.
People usually put their stuff on the sunbeds, but the Jeju wind is strong so you need to put something heavy on it!


And we used a room connected to the pool, so we didn't use Room 102 (the room connected to the pool that all guests have to go through), but Room 102 had these facilities.

Dehydrator! It worked perfectly.

Convenience store

GS25 convenience store located right next to the lobby.
You can buy toothbrushes, toothpaste, drinks, cup noodles, snacks, beer, etc. It's relatively small.
It's a self-checkout, so if you want to buy something for people over 19 years old, you need to call a staff member.

Gotjawal Trail

This was a really great part, and I highly recommend this course to those who like nature.
There's a mini(?) trekking walking course inside the hotel, which takes about 15-30 minutes, where you can feel the phytoncides and heal while walking.
