For those of you who are shy like me, I'll let you know how to get to the Samil Swimming Pool and how to use it so that you can go through the simulation in your head and go in without getting lost when you go there for the first time!

1. Enter the Samil Swimming Pool from either of the two entrances and go down the stairs leading to the basement!

Note) - Waiting room: Whether it's free swimming or class swimming, you can enter 20 minutes before the start, so if you come early, you can wait in the waiting room.

- Vending machine: If you didn't bring a towel/swim cap/goggles, you can buy them from the vending machine. However, sometimes there is no stock, so you have to check carefully. (If you didn't bring a towel, but there is none in the vending machine, there is one in the CU nearby)

I'm a woman, so I'll explain from a woman's perspective from now on! (I think it's almost the same for men)

2. Once you go down the stairs, you have to scan your membership code barcode.

- If you are free swimming: You can pay at the unmanned registration machine on the left and you will get a paper receipt with your locker number. So, you don't need to scan the barcode. (This is also open 20 minutes before the start, and before that, it is blocked with an alarm if you try to use it)

- If you are taking swimming lessons: If you are a new member, you need to get your membership card at the information desk and scan the barcode with that card. (The teacher at the information desk will tell you all about it)

--> In the case of swimming lessons, after scanning the barcode, you will see the number of the locker you have to use, as written in gray on the screen. Remember the number that appears on the screen!

Note) I have to take out my membership card and scan it every time, which is a pain, so I use a barcode generator app on my phone and enter the number to use it. You can use any app, but I'm using Membership Widget. It's free and supports widgets, so it's fast to launch. (Not an advertisement!)

If you enter the number on your Samil Swimming Pool membership card into the app, a barcode will be generated automatically. (Add card > Add other card > Enter membership card number in card number)

3. Take off your shoes at the shoe-taking-off area and go to the locker number you saw on the second screen!

- You can put your shoes in the shoe rack or in the shoe compartment in the locker room. To prevent any loss, I take my shoes with me to the locker room.

4. Go to the locker number that appeared on the screen and change your clothes.

- The locker with that number will be open.

- Take off your mask/glasses completely.

- Put any items you will use after swimming, such as lotion/hairbrush, in the locker room.

- Take a towel, swimsuit/goggles/swim cap/hair tie/things to wash with (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush/toothpaste, foam cleanser, etc.) and close the locker door.

- When you close the locker door, it automatically locks and you get a bracelet-like key.

5. Once you have packed everything, go to the shower room.

6. Put your towel and other things that won't get wet on the luggage rack.

7. Find an empty shower stall and go there.

- When you shower, wash your hair/body/face thoroughly with shampoo/body wash/foam cleanser. (Don't put lotion on your face, just wash it clean.)

- Put on your swimsuit and swim cap/goggles.

Note) When wearing a swim cap, if you have long hair, it's convenient to tie it up with a hair tie! Prepare a hair tie in advance.

8. After showering, put your shower supplies on the luggage rack and go to the pool.

- ! Enjoy swimming~~!

Other notes)

- If this is your first time taking swimming lessons, you can't apply for a locker online, you have to register at the information desk.

(You have to choose your locker number yourself) You can renew and pay for it online after that when you re-enroll as an existing member.

- 50 minutes is the end time for existing class students, so if you go after that, you might have to wait in line for the shower room. That's why you can avoid waiting in line if you enter the shower room between 40 and 50 minutes.
